Released four years after «Prince Of Persia 2», this game wanted to bring 3D to the «Prince Of Persia» experience.
In this game, the Sultan wants to get rid of the Prince so the Princess would be given in marriage to Assan's son, Rugnor, as the Sultan promised him his daughter's hand. The Prince is back in the dungeon, and he has to escape and reunite with the Princess.
Unfortunately, due to financial problems, the game was released early, with many bugs and usability problems. A version for the Sega Dreamcast version was released later, with many of this problems fixed, but the system itself didn't succeed, so this game never became really popular.
